Join the Friends of the SouthShore Regional Library

Why Join the Friends? The Friends organization does for your library what the PTA does for schools; it helps the library staff make the library better for everyone. The Friends is also fun. The Friends motto is “Have Fun and Help the Library”.

The Friends need working volunteers; but also members who just provide financial support. Donations are very welcome!

For 2008, the Friends have pledged over $19,000 to support free library programs that focus on literacy, the arts and the environment for children, teens, adults and seniors.

Membership information: Annual dues are $10 for individuals, $25 for families, clubs, associations and small businesses, $50 for supporting members, and $100 for patrons. If you purchase a Life Membership for $750, your name will be displayed permanently at the library.

The Friends is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization.
